About your instructor

“In an emergency, every second counts. But knowing what to do in those moments can turn panic into action—and save a life. I’m Crystal, a registered nurse and founder of Next Beat Training, and I help people gain the confidence and skills to step in when it matters most.”

Hi, I’m Crystal. My journey in healthcare showed me the real impact of being prepared. As a registered nurse, I’ve seen firsthand how the right action in those critical moments can make the difference between life and death. That’s why I started Next Beat Training—to empower people with practical, hands-on skills that give them confidence in emergencies.

Why I Teach

Throughout my career, I noticed something important: people want to help, but many feel unsure about how to respond when someone collapses or stops breathing. CPR and BLS skills shouldn’t be intimidating—they should be practical, approachable, and empowering.

My mission is simple: to give every participant the confidence and knowledge to save a life. That mission guides every class I teach, whether it’s in a healthcare setting, school, workplace, or community space.

What Makes Next Beat Training Different

  • Instructor-Led Courses: All classes follow the latest American Heart Association guidelines, so you know you’re learning trusted, evidence-based methods.

  • Flexible Learning Options: I offer classroom, hybrid, and on-site training, so your team can learn in the environment that works best for them.

  • Hands-On Skills: Each course emphasizes practical experience, so you leave ready to act—not just certified.

  • Immediate Certification: Receive your AHA-aligned eCard as soon as you successfully complete your course.
